About Tim Palmioli
As a child, I was exposed to photography by my mother who taught me that pictures not only capture moments but serve as a form of expression. I watched as my mother brought our family experiences to life through film and became inspired by her images. Although my first camera was just a toy, I quickly became fascinated with capturing my surroundings through the eyes of a six year old. It wasn’t until I was given the opportunity to study under Chris Lizon, Bob Aller, and Frank Ward at a local community college that I recognized my interest in photography as a passion. Creating images is more than just a hobby or profession; it is a way of life. As an avid outdoors enthusiast and growing up an Eagle Scout, I am instinctively drawn towards capturing the natural spaces we inhabit in hopes to share their beauty with the world and promote the preservation of the country’s national parks and hidden landscapes.
I am a generalist in that I am still learning and growing as an artist. I enjoy shooting a variety of subjects including landscapes, portraits, architecture and events. Recently I have been shooting for Atwater Studios in Springfield, where I have been learning to master the challenges of commercial photography.
